Overnight Closures on the Mercier Bridge Tuesday

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) has been informed by the Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated (JCCBI) of overnight closures on the Mercier Bridge for Tuesday, September 8th.

8pm to 5am: Closure of the R-138 ramp west towards Chateauguay. A detour via R-132 will be in place for this closure. JCCBI and its contractors will be inspecting the ramps and pavement using ground penetrating radar. This inspection is required to determine the condition of the ramps and pavement.

8pm to 4am: Mobile Repair work will require alternating lane closures in the area of the R-138/R-132 merge on the Montreal-bound Mercier Bridge. One lane will be available at all times.

The MCK reminds the public that these works are subject to change due to weather conditions, operational constraints, or work progression and that it does not take part in the scheduling or cancellation of such works.
