Clarification on Public Gatherings Directive

The Kahnaw�:ke COVID-19 Task Force wishes to clarify the Directive regarding Public Gatherings.

While Public Gatherings are prohibited at this time, there are special exceptions for specific situations. With Task Force approval and with environmental and human adaptations, a maximum of twenty-five (25) people, the following gatherings can take place:

• Funerals
• Religious or Ceremonial Gatherings
• Psychosocial Support Groups
• Others, subject to approval

Additionally, it is now required that a person be responsible to ensure a registry of people visiting, including phone number, time of entry and exit, and to ensure all attendees must wear a mask. 

The Task Force wishes to remind Kahnawa�kehr�:non of their personal responsibility to follow the measures and guidelines to protect themselves, their family, and fellow community members.
