Authorization Granted to JCCBI for Mercier Bridge Site Inspections

The Lands Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) would like to inform the community that authorization has been granted to the Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated (JCCBI) to be in the Territory of Kahnaw�:ke with technicians Serge Masse, Nourredine Tifaoui and Jacob Garry from October 11 to December 15, 2020.

They will be in the territory to conduct a site inspection for the Mercier Bridge in the area(s) listed below:

• Ramps and Approaches of R-138 & R-132
• Underneath the span, structure, and abutments
• Piers and the land alongside the bridge

Health and safety measures in place for COVID-19 must be respected and followed, such as physical distancing and hand hygiene, etc. Masks are mandatory.
