Lane Closure Continues on Mercier Bridge

Lane closures will continue on the Kahnaw�:ke bound side of the Mercier Bridge from Monday, August 25th to Friday, August 29th. Closures will take place outside rush hour periods from 3am until noon.

These closures will allow the contractor, Mohawk Bridge Consortium (MBC), to continue repairing connection plates. In all, nearly fifty plates will be repaired by the MBC during this first phase of repairs.

These connection plates link the steel girders under the bridge and their repair will strengthen its structure. This work will be done below the road surface and will not be apparent to road users.
