Wireless Tower work at Multi-Dwelling apartments on hold

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) wishes to inform the community that a project to install a wireless tower at the Multi-Dwelling apartments has been suspended. 

Issues and concerns were brought to the attention of Council, and, as a result, the work is being put on hold to ensure a remedial solution. The tower has been erected but is not operational and will remain non-operational until concerns are resolved. Fencing has been installed around the base of the structure for safety purposes.

In the meantime, meetings will take place to decide on the next steps regarding this project. The MCK will provide information to the community once decisions are made.
