Make sure your sump-pumps are working

The Public Safety Division of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke wishes to remind the community that with the recent heavy rain and more precipitation in the forecast, homeowners are being asked to verify that their home′s sump-pump is functioning properly to prevent water infiltration and possible foundation damage.

Please note, local organizations/departments DO NOT offer pumping services in case of a flood.

It is the homeowner′s responsibility to be prepared.
