Holiday office closures

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) would like to inform the community that all its administrative offices will be closed for the holidays from Thursday, December 24th until Friday, January 1, 2021.

Notes to keep in mind:

• Holiday Garbage pickup: No collection on Friday, December 25th and Friday, January 1st, 2021. Collection will take place on Monday, December 28th and Monday, January 4th, 2021.
• Recycling & Compost pickup: Regular collection on all days except December 25th and January 1st
• No cardboard drop-offs throughout the holidays. Please place curbside next to your bin for regular recycle pick-up.  Regular cardboard drop-off resumes Monday, January 4th, 2021.
• Transfer Depot: Half day (morning) on Thursday, December 24th, closed Friday and Saturday, December 25th & 26th. Regular hours Monday December 28th to Wednesday, December 30th. Open half day (morning) on Thursday, December 31st, closed Friday, January 1st & Saturday January 2nd, 2021.
• All essential services remain in operation.

Additionally, Christmas trees will be picked-up throughout January 2021. Please ensure trees are free of decorations and placed curbside by 7am on your regular recycling day. There will also be a special bin for trees at the Transfer Depot throughout January.

All offices of the MCK will resume regular business hours on Monday, January 4th, 2021, at 8:30am.
