REMINDER - No Household Visits as of December 28th

The Kahnaw�:ke COVID-19 Task Force wishes to remind all Kahnawa�kehr�:non that, due to the current COVID-19 global pandemic and the current state of emergency in Kahnaw�:ke, household visits will NOT be permitted beginning tomorrow, Monday, December 28th until January 31st, 2021.

The exemptions to this Directive are as follows:

• Caregivers and babysitters
• Persons living alone requiring visits for mental health and wellness purposes

Directive 54 has been put into effect due to the increased risk of spreading the COVID-19 virus related to gatherings. This Directive aims to protect the health of our elders and those at an increased risk of contracting the virus.

The community is being reminded that the current situation remains dire, and the risk of transmitting the virus is high. We are asking that the community work together to limit the spread during this second wave.
