MCK to meet with Quebec Indigenous Affairs Minister today

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke wishes to advise the community that a meeting will take place this afternoon between the Council and Quebec’s Minister Responsible for Indigenous Affairs, Ian Lafrenière.

The agenda is as follows:

• Mercier Bridge Memorandum of Understanding
• Quebec-Kahnawake Relations Relationship Framework
• Meeting with the Premier Legault
• Update on Aboriginal Initiatives Fund

The meeting will take place at 2pm and will be conducted by videoconference.
