Warrant Executed on Rabaska Road

The Kahnawake Peacekeepers wish to advise the community that on the evening of February 13, 2021, at 17:36, Peacekeepers executed a search warrant at a residence on Rabaska Road.

The purpose of the warrant was to locate illicit cannabis that the suspect was advertising as part of a Valentine′s gift package across multiple social media platforms. During the operation, a local woman, aged 27, was placed under arrest. Peacekeepers seized 58 items containing suspected illicit cannabis in various forms.

The suspect was later released on a promise to appear, charges pending are the distribution of illicit cannabis and possession for the purposes of distribution.
