Kahnawake Vaccinations ready to roll out - appointments for those 80-plus now being accepted

The Kahnaw�:ke COVID-19 Task Force wishes to advise the community that the Vaccination Center, located at the Mohawk Bingo on Highway 138, is now fully prepared for the vaccination process that is scheduled to begin this Thursday.

The first priority group to receive the vaccinations at the Center will be those aged 85 and over. Additionally, appointments for those 80-years-of-age and over are now being accepted until 6pm tonight (Tuesday).

Preparations to the facility have been extensive to ensure the facility is safe for everyone, including elderly and immuno-suppressed.

Great care was taken to design a simple and efficient traffic flow system, to ensure you receive your vaccine in the safest way possible.

As stated earlier, those planning to receive the vaccine must do so by appointment. These can be made by telephone at 450-638-3930, ext. 2295 or 2206. Please ensure that you have your Medicare card in hand when booking appointment.
