Elders need to book appointments for Vaccination
03/22/2021
The Kahnawà:ke COVID-19 Task Force wishes to inform the community that as of today, there are only 50% of the 70-year-old plus Kahnawa’kehró:non that have been vaccinated.
This is very concerning because people in this age group are the most susceptible to severe complications and death from COVID-19.
The Task Force is calling on community members to speak to their elders and make sure they know why it is crucial to get vaccinated.
Please help them to book an appointment and book for yourself. The window of opportunity to get vaccinated in Kahnawà:ke is limited, and the deadline to use the vaccine doses is quickly approaching.
Remember, anyone can get the COVID-19 virus.
Appointments can be made by using the Clic Santé form on www.kahnawake911.com/vaccine (the preferred method). A video of the booking process can be found on kahnawake911.com. Before your appointment, fill out the online Consent Form, print it, and bring it with you to help speed up the Registration process at the Vaccination Center.
Appointments can also be made by telephone at 450-638-3930 ext. 2295 or 2206. Please ensure that you have your Medicare card in hand when booking an appointment.
