Rainfall Warning announced

The Public Safety Division of the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke wishes to advise the community that Environment Canada has issued a Rainfall Warning for our area, beginning Friday night (March 26).

A strong southerly flow will bring mild temperatures, sustained winds, and rain. Rainfall amounts of 25 to 40 millimeters are expected.

Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible.

Homeowners are asked to verify that their home′s sump-pump is functioning properly and to take any other precautions deemed necessary.
