REMINDER - Asbestos Civil Investigation Project Team seeks Community Observers

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) reminds Kahnawa′kehró:non that the Asbestos Civil Investigation (ACI) Project Team is seeking interested community members to have a role in the investigation by acting as observers at update meetings with the investigator and reading status reports.

Observer(s) will be part of the investigator′s draft report presentation. The position(s) have been created as part of the MCK′s approach to ensure transparency and provide more confidence that the investigation is indeed independent of the MCK.

Interested persons should submit a letter of intent by 3pm on Friday, April 9^th to ACI Project Liaison, Ratsénhaienhs Cody Diabo by email at cody.diabo@mck.ca. A Terms of Reference outlining the role of observers is available online.

Successful candidates will be selected by the ACI Project Team and announced after April 9^th.
