Tekakwitha Island and Bay Project SAFETY NOTICE

The Kahnaw�:ke Environment Protection Office (KEPO) reminds the community that Rice Mohawk Landscaping has resumed work on the Tekakwitha Island and Bay Project. We ask that the community please be vigilant when on the island as delivery trucks and heavy machinery will be accessing the site and moving between project locations.

The primary construction areas are surrounded by construction fencing. For your safety, please do not enter these zones. Signage indicating detours for the bike path are in place to assist community members navigate past the construction zones. Access to the entirety of the bike path will be restored as soon as it is safe to do so.
