2021 Election Dates Announced

The Office of the Electoral Officer is pleased to announce several important dates for the 2021 Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke Elections.

• Nomination Day - Saturday May 29, 2021, from 10am to 12 noon (location TBD)
• Meet the Candidates - Wednesday June 23, 2021, from 6pm to 11pm (location TBD)
• Special Advance Poll - Saturday June 26, 2021, from 10am to 12 noon (location TBD)
• Election Day - Saturday July 3, 2021 from 9am to 6pm (location TBD)

Locations for these events will be provided once confirmed.

To ensure this year�s elections process adheres to the safety measures put in place by the Kahnaw�:ke COVID-19 Task Force, modifications to the usual process for in-person events such as Nomination Day, Meet the Candidates Night, and Election Day will be made and announced leading up to the event.

The Electoral Officer also wishes to remind the community of the importance of having the required documents and signers for the nomination process ready on Nomination Day.
