Karonhian�nhnha Gym confirmed for Nomination Day

The Office of the Electoral Officer wishes to advise the community that the Karonhian�nhnha School Gymnasium has been approved and confirmed as the location for Nomination Day for the upcoming Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke Election. The event will take place as follows:

Nomination Day:               Saturday, May 29, 2021, from 10am to 12 noon

To ensure this year�s election process adheres to the safety measures put in place by the Kahnaw�:ke COVID-19 Task Force, modifications to the usual process for in-person events will be made and announced prior to each event. Signage will be erected to provide clear instructions on how to proceed at the site. Masks must be worn at all times.

Please note that locations for the other events below, while scheduled, still must be approved and confirmed.

Meet the Candidates:       Wednesday, June 23, 2021, from 6pm to 11pm
Special Advance Poll:      Saturday, June 26, 2021, from 10am to 12 noon
Election Day:                     Saturday, July 3, 2021, from 9am to 6pm
