Compost Soil Distribution begins today

The Waste Management Department of the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke would like to announce that the Compost soil at the Transfer Depot is ready to be distributed. The Compost soil was sent for testing, and the results are that it is safe.

The distribution has begun today (Monday, June 7th), from 9am � 3pm at the Transfer Depot, and continues every day. Each household is eligible for eight (8) buckets of soil. Please bring your own buckets and shovel to collect the compost.

To receive soil, you must be participating in our community compost collection.
