Complaints of Telephone Scam within the Territory

The Kahnawake Peacekeepers have received complaints of a telephone scam within the territory.

The reporting persons received a call from what appeared to be the Kahnawake Peacekeepers telephone line, (450) 632-6505.

In some cases, an automated message plays, informing the resident that they are the subject of a federal warrant. The voice warns that if they do not take action, they will be arrested.

This is a fraudulent call. The Kahnawake Peacekeepers, nor any law enforcement agency, do not operate in this manner. DO NOT give any personal information over the phone.
