Recreation Path Extension Complete

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke Capital Unit is pleased to announce that Phase 3 of the Recreation Path extension from the bridge to the marina on Kateri Tekakwitha Island is now complete.

The first phase of this project saw the creation of a Recreation Path from the Marina to the bridge along the Marina Road. Phase II extended along the Village’s west end from Onake to Deere’s Beach.

“I’m glad this project was completed at this time,” said Director of Capital, Thomas Skye. “Community members can still enjoy the path with the warm weather we are expecting.“
