MTQ inspection of lighting and electrical systems

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) has been informed by the Minist�re des Transports du Qu�bec (MTQ) that daytime inspections of the lighting and electrical systems on R-138 and R-132 will take place on August 2 to August 9, between 7am and 5pm. The inspections will be carried out by the firm EXP, an authorized MTQ contactor.

The inspections will require partial and temporary lane closures between Chateauguay and the Mercier Bridge, as well as parts of R-132 near the on/off-ramps. Drivers are being urged to reduce their speed and drive with caution when approaching the inspection sites, and to respect the Move-Over Law.
 
The MCK reminds the public that these works are subject to change due to weather conditions, operational constraints, or work progression and that it does not take part in the scheduling or cancellation of such works.
