Notice regarding Marriages officiated by Justices of the Peace of the Court of Kahnawake

The Justice Services Division of the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke is pleased to announce the resumption of marriages officiated by Justices of the Peace of the Court of Kahnaw�:ke. It would also like to advise the community that certain safety measures will be mandatory to help ensure a safe ceremony and limit the spread of COVID-19.

The measures meet the standards brought forth to ensure the health and safety of all concerned. They are NOT optional. If applicable health and safety measures are not respected at the ceremony the intended spouses will be asked to remedy the situation. If the intended spouses fail to do so the Justice of the Peace will not officiate the marriage.
