Notice of Landfill Transfer on R-138

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke�s Landfill Office wishes to advise the community of ongoing landfill transfer work being carried out on Trevor Jacobs� property located on R-138.

Mr. Jacobs is excavating earth materials from the back portion of his land and transporting it to the front of his property near the Mohawk Bingo. According to Mr. Jacobs, the project should be completed at or near the end of September, give or take a week, weather pending.  

The Landfill Office is aware of this project and the Landfill Inspector/Surveillance Monitor is and has been monitoring to ensure no unauthorized soil is being brought in or leaving.
