Local man, one other face charges

The Kahnawà:ke Peacekeepers wish to update the community in regard to an operation that took place late last week.

On the morning of September 3rd, 2021 at 06:00, the Kahnawà:ke Peacekeepers participated in a joint operation with the SPVM (Montreal Police) and the Sûreté du Québec. The Peacekeepers executed a search warrant at residences in Kahnawà:ke and Mercier. In Kahnawà:ke, one male, John Kenneth Deer (D.O.B. 1971/10/20), was placed under arrest. In Mercier, Terence Wilson (D.O.B. 1975/05/21), was placed under arrest. Both men face multiple drug and firearms charges.

• 3 pistols
• 1 revolver
• 1 prohibited long gun
• 5 long guns
• Various ammunition of different calibers
• 1 kilo of suspected cocaine
• 4 empty kilo sized envelopes with cocaine residue
• +100 tablets of methamphetamine (speed)
• 1380 tablets of Viagra
• 50 tablets of Cialis
• 5 cannabis plants
• 10lbs of cannabis
• $6,650.00 in cash
• Multiple communication devices
