MCK gauging community on meetings
09/13/2021
The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) would like to inform the community that a survey has been launched to gauge opinions of Kahnawa′kehró:non regarding Community meetings, specifically during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
The restrictive gathering measures during the past 18 months have made it very challenging to be able to hold in-person meetings, and it is clear that it will continue this way in the upcoming months. The last community meeting was held in February 2020.
The results of the survey will be tabulated and presented to the Ratitsénhaienhs. This will be used to assist in their decision on how to move forward with engaging the community. The survey asks how community members feel about the different types of meetings that could be held with respect to the COVID-19 measures.
The survey is anonymous and can be taken at www.kahnawake.com/meetings until Friday, September 24th at 4pm.
