Mercier Bridge Lane Closure November 28th to December 1st

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke wishes to inform road users that the Kahnawà:ke-bound right lane of the Mercier Bridge will be closed from 11:59pm on Friday, November 28th , until 5am on Monday, December 1st.

The contractor will take advantage of this temporary closure to complete specific repairs that require closing one lane to traffic. Truck traffic restrictions already announced will continue over the coming weeks in order to complete other planned repair work. More lane closures are planned between now and the holidays.

The work is being executed under the bridge structure and will not be visible to road users. These operations are essential to the ongoing repair work to the bridge and the subsequent replacement of its deck. As of today, the Mohawk Bridge Consortium has completed planned repairs on 44 of the 48 connection plates.
