REMINDER - MCK gauging opinions on community meetings
09/22/2021
The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) would like to remind the community that a survey was launched on September 13th, to gauge opinions of Kahnawa′kehró:non regarding Community meetings, specifically during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
The survey is anonymous and can be taken at www.kahnawake.com/meetings until this Friday, September 24th at 4pm.
The survey asks how community members feel about the different types of meetings that could be held with respect to the COVID-19 measures. The results of the survey will be tabulated and presented to the Ratitsénhaienhs. The opinions gathered will assist in their decision on how to move forward with engaging the community.
Background
As a result of restrictive gathering measures during the past 18 months it has been very challenging to hold in-person meetings, and it is clear that it will continue this way in the upcoming months. The last community meeting was held in February 2020.
