Landfill Operations Commencing Monday

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawą:kes Landfill Office wishes to advise the community of a Landfilling Operation that will commence the week of September 27th, 2021, at the residence of Bonnie Prince on R-207.
The following are details of the operation:
- The Kahnawą:ke Landfill Authority has approved permits for Ali Excavation.
- The Kahnawake Environment Protection Office has approved the Soil Characterization Report.
- The operation should be completed in a week or two, weather permitting.
- Landfills Inspector/Surveillance Monitor Bruce McComber will be on-site for the duration of this project.
- Random tests will be taken.
- All other measures will be adhered to
