REMINDER Low Waste Market returns this Saturday

The Kahnaw�:ke Waste Management Department of the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke wishes to remind the community of the return of the Low-Waste Market taking place this Saturday, October 16th from 9am to 2pm at the Kahnawake Youth Center.

The Low Waste Market is a day of zero-waste activities such as stop & swap tables, information booths, demonstrations, trading opportunities, and more.

Donations of household items, clothing, books, and dishware can be brought to the Kahnaw�:ke Youth Center the day of the event, or contact Iotshatena:wi Reed at the Waste Management Department (450-632-4321) for drop-offs at the Town Garage. Please ensure that all items are clean. No toys or electronics, please.

All COVID-19 measures must be followed; masks and social distancing are required. A limit will be implemented on the number of people allowed in the building at one time.
