Halloween Activities for 2021
10/19/2021
The Kahnawà:ke Public Safety Commission wishes to inform the community that, based on the success of last year′s Halloween activities, Kahnawa′kehró:non can look forward to having another successful year. People should feel free to decorate their homes as usual and are encouraged to utilize the many alternate methods of handing out goodies.
The Commission also wishes to remind Kahnawa′kehró:non of their personal responsibility to follow the measures and guidelines to protect themselves, their family, and fellow community members. If possible, shop Kahnawà:ke whenever possible for your Halloween decorations, costumes, and treats, and ensure they are prepackaged and easily cleaned (i.e., chips, canned drinks, chocolate bars).
As has become the norm, the three main actions of preventing the spread of the virus must be adhered to, including Social Distancing, Frequent Hand Washing, and Wearing Appropriate Masks.
It is anticipated that by being proactive, the community can again have a safe and happy Halloween.
Niá:wen for your continued vigilance in protecting our community.
