New Development Road Closure Postponed to Wednesday

The Capital Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) would like to inform all Kahnawa�kehr�:non that the road closure in the New Development area, originally scheduled on Monday, October 25, 2021, has been rescheduled due to rain. The works will take place tomorrow, October 27th, from 7am to 3:30pm.

The Capital Construction Crew will be connecting the water and sewer services for a residential building in the area. The connection to the main line requires the street to be closed completely. Work should be completed by 3:30pm, and the road will be re-opened. Detours will be clearly posted to allow for traffic circulation.

The MCK reminds the public that these works are subject to change due to weather conditions, operational constraints, or work progression. In case of inclement weather, works will be moved to the following day(s) when the weather provides for suitable working conditions.
