Grand Chief Sky-Deer to meet with high-level Indigenous female leaders

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke is pleased to announce that Oh�n:ton �:iente ne Ratits�nhaienhs (Grand Chief) Kahsennenhawe Sky-Deer has accepted an invitation to join the National Chief of the Assembly of First Nations Roseanne Archibald, and Grand Chief of the Grand Council of the Crees, Mandy Gull Masty to meet tomorrow (Tuesday) with the Governor-General of Canada, Mary Simon.  

"I am very excited to meet with these incredibly influential Indigenous women leaders in Canada," said Grand Chief Sky-Deer. "At this important time in our history, this will be an incredible opportunity to lay the foundation for working relationships with these strong women."

The meeting will take place at the Governor General′s official residence in Ottawa.
