The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke wishes to inform the community that Ratsénhaienhs Ryan Montour and Ratsénhaienhs Ross Montour will be participating in today’s Assembly of First Nations Quebec-Labrador ‘Chiefs Assembly.’ Due to Ohén:ton Í:iente ne Ratitsénhaienhs (Grand Chief) Kahsennenhawe Sky-Deer’s vacation, Ratsénhaienhs Ryan Montour has been given the proxy to vote should it be required.

Agenda items include discussions on Economic Development, and political strategies on Public Security, and the implementation of the AFNQL statement Holding of Aboriginal Rights and Title to Their Lands.
