Rice Road closure tomorrow

The Capital Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) would like to inform all Kahnawa′kehr�:non of a Road Closure behind Old Malone Gas Bar (formerly J.R.′s Petroleum), from 7am to 3:30pm on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, weather permitting.

The Capital Construction Crew will be connecting the water and sewer services for a commercial building in the area. The connection to the main lines requires the street to be closed completely. Work should be completed by 3:30pm, at which time the road will be re-opened. Detours will be clearly posted to allow for traffic circulation.

The MCK reminds the public that these works are subject to change due to weather conditions, operational constraints, or work progression. In case of inclement weather, works will be moved to the following day(s) when the weather provides for suitable working conditions.
