Stop Sign relocation at Kanes Corner

The Public Safety Division wishes to inform the community of the relocation of a stop sign for safety purposes.

The stop sign is located on the Old Malone Highway at the intersection of Kane Road (Kane′s Corner). The relocation of the sign by approximately fifty (50) feet will make it a legitimate three-way stop. New lines are being painted today (see below).

The move is necessary due to the growth of trees/shrubs in the area, which is causing visibility issues.

On a related note, Public Works are installing two new stop signs in the area of the intersection of South Bend and McComber Roads.
