Community invited to provide Feedback for Kahnawake Residency Law and Kanienkehaka of Kahnawake Law

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawą:ke (MCK) wishes to advise the community that two (2) regulations drafted under the Kahnawą:ke Residency Law (KRL) and (2) regulations drafted under the Kanienkehį:ka of Kahnawą:ke Law will be reviewed for community feedback beginning Friday, February 11, 2022 (today).
The documents to be reviewed can be accessed on the MCK website by clicking here.

Feedback will be received until Thursday, February 24th at 4pm.
Comments from this feedback session and previous virtual sessions will be compiled and posted on February 28th, and the community will have the opportunity to provide feedback until Wednesday, March 30th at 4pm. After the 30-day review period, all recommendations received will be compiled for review and acceptance by Chief and Council.
