Quarterly Community Meetings to restart in May

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke wishes to inform Kahnawa’kehró:non that a date has been set for the return of in-person Quarterly/Seasonal Community Meetings.

The first has been scheduled for Tuesday, May 17th at the Knights of Columbus Hall.

The larger venue was chosen due to the fact that there hasn’t been a formal Community Meeting since the pandemic began in early 2020, and it is possible that there could be a greater number of attendees due to this circumstance.

Additionally, the Council of Chiefs will host two (2) kiosks as a means of increasing community engagement in the weeks leading up to the resumption. The kiosks will take place at the Golden Age Club as follows:

• Friday, April 8, from 1pm to 4pm
• Friday, April 29, from 1pm to 4pm
