Low-Cost Spay and Neuter Clinics are back

The Animal Protection Department is pleased to announce that Low-Cost Spay and Neuter Clinics for cats and dogs have resumed.
All services are provided at a significantly reduced rate. There is a maximum of five (5) dog and five (5) cat procedures, each performed on the following dates:
- Wednesday, April 6th, and April 20th
- Wednesday, May 4th and 18th
- Wednesday, June 1st, 15th, and 29th
Prices vary according to the weight and sex of the animal. Scheduling an appointment is required - all fees are the responsibility of the pet owner.
Animals will be transported to Timberlea Veterinary Clinic in Kirkland at an additional cost of $15. Pet owners are asked to provide their cages and carriers.
Please note that there is a waiting list. Also, to address our community’s needs, this service is only available to Kahnawa’kehró:non for the time being.
