Mercier Bridge overnight mobile inspections

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) has been informed by the Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated (JCCBI) that overnight mobile inspections will take place tonight (Wednesday) from 7pm until 5am Thursday.

JCCBI and its contractors will be inspecting the lighting system on the R-138 and R-132 approaches, ramps and part of the deck on the Mercier Bridge.

Motorists can expect mobile and temporary lane closures during this inspection.

Please drive with caution and slow down when entering the mobile work zones, and respect the Move-Over Law when you see flashing lights.

The MCK reminds the public that these works are subject to change due to weather conditions, operational constraints, or work progression and that it does not take part in the scheduling or cancellation of such works.
