Ohenton Iiente ne Ratitsenhaienhs (Grand Chief) Sky-Deer to meet with Montreal Mayor today

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke wishes to inform the community that Oh�n:ton �:iente ne Ratits�nhaienhs Kahsennenhawe Sky-Deer and Chief Political Advisor Winona Polson-Lahache will meet with Montreal Mayoress Val�rie Plante and others at Montreal City Hall this afternoon.

The agenda is as follows:

• Introductions
• Consultation processes that are underway and participation of the community (Plante)
• Needs in the Cabot Square sector (Plante)
• Bill 96 (Sky-Deer)
• Indigenous International Expo (Sky-Deer)

The following will be present with the mayor:

• Alia Hassan-Cournol, associate Councillor to the Mayor and responsible for Reconciliation with Indigineous Peoples on the Executive Committee
• Mme Marie-�ve L. Bordeleau, Commissioner of Indigenous Relations

The meeting is preliminary in nature, and is scheduled for 1:45 to 2:45pm.
