Total Fire Ban in Effect

The current fire conditions in Kahnaw�:ke and Tiower�:ton are EXTREME.

As a result, the Kahnawake Fire Brigade (KFB) has issued a total fire ban for both Kahnaw�:ke and Tiower�:ton until further notice.

Although we are in a state of Normalcy, COVID-19 still poses a risk to the health and safety of the First Responders who are forced to gather in order to combat grass fires and other incidents as a result of those who may ignore this total fire ban.

Additionally, if you see any suspicious activity or see a grass fire, please contact the Peacekeepers at (450) 632-6505. Starting a grass fire is a crime.
