Partial closure of Indian Way Road

The Public Works Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke would like to inform the community of some upcoming road maintenance that will require the partial closure of Indian Way Road between McGregor�s Farm and Indian Way School.

On Tuesday, May 24, 2022, from 7am until 3:30pm the Public Works Unit will be repairing all the soft spots in the roadway.

Shown below is a map of the general area. The shaded area indicates where the work will take place.

Residents in the area may be inconvenienced with temporary detours, and temporary road closures. Only residents in the affected area will be permitted to pass through the detours to access their homes. Proper road signalization will be installed to warn of the construction limits.
