MTQ to conduct bi-annual inspections on overpasses

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) has been informed by the Minist�re des Transports du Qu�bec (MTQ) that it will conduct bi-annual inspections of two (2) overpasses on the territory tomorrow (Friday) between 9am and 12pm. Inspectors will be at R-138/R-207 overpass and the CP Rail overpass that crosses over the R-138/R-132 service roads (see pictures below).

These inspections are necessary to evaluate the structures and to ensure the safety of road users.

Partial lane closures for these inspections will be required; flagmen will be in place to direct traffic.

Please drive with caution and slow down when entering the construction zones, and respect the Move-Over Law when you see flashing lights.

The MCK reminds the public that these works are subject to change due to weather conditions, operational constraints, or work progression and that it does not take part in the scheduling or cancellation of such works.
