MCK begins reopening offices to the community
06/02/2022
The Mohawk Council of Kahnawą:ke (MCK) is pleased to inform the community that the MCK main office is now officially re-opened to the community to allow for the resumption of in-person service delivery.
Additionally, the MCKs Client-Based Services office (located at the Services Complex) is now conducting in-person meetings by appointment only.
Other MCK offices and facilities are expected to re-open to the public in the near future. The community will be made aware as these re-openings take place.
As COVID-19 is still present, the MCK recommends the continued use of masks, proper hygiene, and social distancing whenever possible, even if not mandatory, along with the following when entering an MCK building:
- Complete a daily self-monitoring form prior to entering (available at the door)
- Sanitize hands
- A maximum of two (2) clients at a time will be permitted
- Masking is HIGHLY recommended. Masks will be available for clients, if requested.
The MCK thanks the community for its patience and understanding throughout the pandemic.
