Important Notice - Special Community Meeting on Bill 96 confirmed for Thursday

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) wishes to inform Kahnawa�kehr�:non that a special community meeting concerning Bill 96 has been confirmed for this Thursday.

As this legislation will have negative impacts on all sectors of the community, all leadership, organizations, and community members are urged to attend to ensure everyone is informed and to continue discussions on actions moving forward.

The MCK will provide an analysis of potential actions to challenge the legislation, which received royal assent in the provincial legislature on Wednesday, June 1.

The meeting will take place at the Knights of Columbus Hall on Thursday, June 9, 2022, from 7 to 9pm.
