KEPO Fish Sampling on Little Suzanne River Beginning June 8th

The Kahnawą:ke Environment Protection Office wishes to inform the community that it will be conducting fish sampling throughout the Little Suzanne River from June 8th to June 26th, using minnow traps and fyke (hoop) nets. One location may be sampled with an electrofishing unit if possible. All native fish species will be released following capture.
This effort is part of the greater Aquatic Stewardship Program in Kahnawą:ke and will tell us about the health of the river.
