Reminder - Special Community Meeting on Bill 96 TONIGHT

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) wishes to remind Kahnawa�kehr�:non that a special community meeting concerning Bill 96 is taking place this evening from 7 to 9pm at the Knights of Columbus Hall.

As this legislation will have negative impacts on all sectors of the community, all leadership, organizations, and community members are urged to attend to ensure everyone is informed, and to continue discussions on further actions moving forward.

The MCK will provide an analysis of potential actions to challenge the legislation, which received royal assent in the provincial legislature on Wednesday, June 1st.
