Partial closure of Indian Way Road continues tomorrow

The Public Works Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) would like to inform the community that, due to unforeseen circumstances, the road maintenance currently underway on Indian Way Road between McGregor’s Farm and Indian Way School will continue tomorrow (Wednesday, June 15, 2022), from 7am to 3:30pm.

Shown below is a map of the general area. The shaded area indicates where the work will take place.

Temporary detours and temporary road closures may inconvenience residents in the area. Only residents in the affected area will be permitted to pass through the detours to access their homes. Proper road signalization will be installed to warn of the construction limits.

The MCK reminds the public that these works are subject to change due to weather conditions, operational constraints, or work progression and that it does not take part in the scheduling or cancellation of such works.
