MCK announces Council of Chiefs summer schedule

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke would like to inform the community of the Council of Chiefs� summer schedule.

The final �regular� duly-convened Council meeting was held earlier this week (Monday, June 20th). The Council meetings will resume on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 immediately after Labor Day and every Monday thereafter. Please note that, if needed, Special Council Meetings could be scheduled during the summer break, such as one called for July 18th to approve the annual audit.

Strategic Discussions will resume on Tuesday, September 13, 2022. However, Special Strategic Discussions could also be called during the summer break should the need arise.

The Council of Chiefs will continue to conduct portfolio work. They will remain available to speak to community members throughout the summer, though Kahnawa�kehr�:non are reminded that not all Ratits�nhaienhs may be available due to summer vacations.
