MTQ inspection of lighting and electrical systems

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) has been informed by the Minist�re des Transports du Qu�bec (MTQ) that daytime inspections of 9 electrotechnical structures, including traffic lights on R-132 and R-138 will take place tomorrow (Tuesday) and Wednesday, July 5th and 6th between 9am and 3pm. The inspections will be carried out by SNC-Lavallin, mandated by the MTQ.

The inspections will require partial and temporary lane closures between Chateauguay and the Mercier Bridge, as well as parts of R-132 near the on/off-ramps. Drivers are being urged to reduce their speed and drive with caution when approaching the inspection sites, and to respect the Move-Over Law.

The MCK reminds the public that these works are subject to change due to weather conditions, operational constraints, or work progression and that it does not take part in the scheduling or cancellation of such works.
